A Real Store, Run by the People Who Install the Floors
We are a family-owned flooring store in Wylie, not a national chain and not a website with a warehouse behind it. Ramzi — our lead installer and co-owner — has been putting floors down across DFW for over fifteen years, and the showroom opened here in 2019. That matters when you are standing in front of a sample rack, because the person telling you how a product performs is the person who has installed it in houses like yours.
It also means we will talk you out of things. If you are looking at solid hardwood for a slab-built house with a known moisture issue, we will say so. If your existing floor can be refinished for a third of what replacing it costs, we will tell you that too, even though it is the smaller sale. Over 100 five-star reviews is not an accident of marketing — it is what happens when nobody leaves feeling sold to.
The trade-off is honest: we are not the biggest showroom in the metroplex, and if your only goal is to walk a warehouse floor for two hours, the big-box stores off Central Expressway will do that better. What we offer instead is a short, useful visit with someone who knows the answer, and samples in your hand within twenty minutes of walking in.
What You Can See and Touch
Luxury vinyl plank & waterproof vinyl
The most-requested category in Texas homes, and the one where the difference between products is hardest to judge online. Worth handling in person: wear-layer thickness, how convincing the embossing is, and how the locking edge feels.
Solid & engineered hardwood
Species, grade and plank width side by side. Engineered is what most DFW slab homes need, and seeing the wear layer on a cut sample makes the solid-versus-engineered decision far clearer than any comparison chart.
Tile & stone
Daltile, Marazzi and MSI. Large-format tile in particular is worth seeing at full size — the scale of a 24-inch tile in a small bathroom is genuinely hard to picture from a swatch.
Carpet
Mohawk, Dream Weaver and Revolution Mills. Carpet is the category people most regret buying sight-unseen, because density and pile are entirely tactile. Press your thumb into it.
Laminate
Mohawk, Evoke, Eva Floors and others. The budget-conscious choice that has improved enormously — and the one where a bad product and a good one look identical in a photograph.
Countertop & cabinet samples
Because floors do not get chosen in isolation. If you are remodeling a kitchen or bath, seeing the floor against the counter and cabinet finish in the same room saves a lot of second-guessing.

Start with what the space actually has to survive — dogs, kids, a west-facing wall of glass, a slab that moves. The product conversation gets much shorter once we know that.

Getting Here
We are on Alanis Drive, close to where SH 78 and FM 544 cross through the middle of Wylie, with free parking right outside the suite. From Murphy, Sachse, Saint Paul and Lavon it is usually a ten to fifteen minute drive. From Plano, Allen, Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall and Parker, budget around half an hour depending on traffic. Where is your flooring showroom?+
1001 Alanis Dr Ste 120, Wylie, TX 75098 — just off the SH 78 and FM 544 corridors that run through the middle of Wylie. There is free parking directly outside. For most of Wylie, Murphy, Sachse, Saint Paul and Lavon it is a ten to fifteen minute drive; Plano, Allen, Garland, Rowlett and Rockwall are roughly half an hour.
What are your showroom hours?+
Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed Sunday. Saturday mornings are the busiest stretch of the week, so if you want unhurried time with someone, a weekday afternoon is the better call.
Do I need an appointment?+
No. Walk in whenever we are open. An appointment only helps if you want a specific person, or if you are bringing a full set of room measurements and want to sit down and price a whole-house job in one visit — in that case calling ahead at (945) 208-5467 means we can have the numbers ready rather than working them up while you wait.
Can I take flooring samples home?+
Yes, and you should. It is genuinely the most useful thing you can do before choosing a floor. Showroom lighting is nothing like the light in your own house, and a plank that reads warm grey under our fixtures can read distinctly brown next to your cabinets at 4pm. Take samples home, put them on the actual floor in the actual room, and look at them in morning light, evening light, and under the lamps you use at night. Samples are free and there is no deposit.
What should I bring with me?+
Photos of the rooms, and anything the floor has to live next to — a cabinet door, a paint swatch, a countertop offcut, a photo of your trim. Rough room dimensions help us give you a ballpark, though we will still measure properly before quoting. If you are repairing or matching an existing floor rather than replacing it, bring a piece of the actual board if you have one, or a close-up photo of the grain and edge profile if you do not.
Do you sell flooring without installation?+
Our business is supply and installation together, and that is where we do our best work — one crew responsible for both the material and how it goes down, so nobody gets to blame the other trade when something is wrong. Come talk to us about what you are trying to do and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit for the job.
Is the estimate free, and is there any pressure?+
The in-home estimate is free, includes measuring, and comes back as an itemized written quote — not a single number on a business card. There is no trip fee anywhere in our service area. And you can walk out of the showroom with an armful of samples and no appointment booked; that is a normal visit, not a wasted one.
